Sarah Lancaster was born in Overland Park, Kansas in February 12, 1980, but grew up in Mission Viejo, California. When her family moved to California, Sarah was age 10 and immediately took up acting classes with R.J Adams at ‘The Actors Workshop.’ During this time, Lancaster has appeared in numerous print ads and several theatrical productions, where Sarah performed ballet and jazz dancing for plays such as “I Love Dance” and “Les Artists Theatrical.”

Sarah landed a talent agent, who helped the eight-grader Lancaster win a guest-starring role on the hit series, “Saved by the Bell: The New Class” in 1993. The following season, the 13-year-old Sarah Lancaster became a regular cast and had to be tutored on the set. Sarah also took college courses at the University of California to expedite her high school completion. In addition, since Sarah’s family lived two hours away from the SBTB set, Lancaster often stayed over at cast member Natalia Ciguliti’s home on Wednesday and Thursday nights. After the production of “Saved by the Bell” ended, Lancaster moved to Los Angeles to pursue a full time acting career.

From the late 1990s, Sarah Lancaster guest-starred on numerous shows, including “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” “Dawson’s Creek,” “7th Heaven,” “That 70’s Show,” “Six Feet Under,” and “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.” In 1999, Sarah Lancaster also appeared in the CBS made-for-TV movie, “Michael Landon, the Father I Knew,” starred in the slash-flick “Lover’s Lane” and played Liz on MTV’s “Undressed.” In 2000, Lancaster appeared in the made-for-cable thriller, “Mercury Project” and “Devil in the Flesh 2,” followed by a cameo in the 2001 comedy flick “Half & Half.”

In 2002, Sarah played the love interest of Leonardo DiCaprio’s character on the box-office hit “Catch Me If You Can.” Sarah Lancaster also bagged a semi-regular role in the TV sitcom, “Scrubs” and joined the cast of The WB’s “Everwood,” playing Madison Kellner, Ephram’s love interest. She then landed a recurring role on the FOX hit series, “Boston Public” and starred on a 2005 film “Living with The Enemy.” From 2004 to 2006, Sarah Lancaster played the beautiful blackjack dealer on the CBS drama, “Dr.Vegas” alongside Joe Pantoliano and Rob Lowe.

In 2006, Sarah Lancaster had a small role in the movie “Four Kings,” but won a lead role for the ABC sitcom “What about Brian,” where she played Marjorie, the girl in the middle of a love triangle between Brian and his best friend. Lancaster landed another hit series called “Chuck,” wherein she plays Ellie Bartowski – the lead character’s sister. She also appeared in the 2008 comedy drama film “Smother” alongside Diane Keaton and Liv Tyler.
